This apprenticeship model is not designed for individual groomers, hobby learners,
or short-term training.
It is built specifically for grooming businesses that want to formalize training,
develop talent internally, and scale with consistency.

This apprenticeship model was developed and is led by Jennifer Oppel, a salon owner in the St. Louis area and training program director with direct experience operating a grooming business and building structured training systems inside it.
She has worked hands-on in grooming operations, helped support and advise other businesses, and built this model in response to the real challenges salons face — inconsistent training, high turnover, variable skill standards, and the limits of informal, owner-dependent systems.
This is not a content product or an opinion-based course. It is a structured training framework built from real operational experience and designed to support consistency, safety, and long-term business stability.
